Austin is the capital of Texas, but has a personality unlike that of any other Texan city. Check out the natural side of Austin in Zilker Park, a 351-acre park that is home to swimming holes, athletic facilities, and a river that’s perfect for canoeing or kayaking. In the park you’ll also find Barton Springs Pool, a spring-fed pool that consistently stays between 68 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, where locals and visitors alike come to escape the central Texas heat.
