What I Can Share with Hosts

Here is my work history. I only work 96,384 hours over 48 years. 2,000 volunteer hours so far
Scott white was the last place of employment in my food service career ladder. I now volunteer in the main cafe.
Helping people find the different food station, carried their trays, Restocks, etc.

I started in food service in Division Ave High School; Levittown NY in 1964 It was a 2 yrs.
Course Training and working in the school kitchen. On July 5, 1966, I join the US Army 3 yrs.’

Went to their cooking school and cook in Vietnam War. After coming, home my first
Job was a breakfast cook for the Howard Johnson Restaurant, Hicksville NY Then I went

To a cooking school for 2 yrs.’ in New Haven, Ct. Culinary Institution of America.

My first job out of cooking school was being a Camp Chef at a Jewish Boys camp In upstate NY. After the summer job I work for Moody Bible Institution in Chicago, IL
For over 3 yrs. However, in the middle I went to the Ivory Coast Africa to a missionary school To train the national people how to cook American food and work with American kitchen

Equipment. That took one year then back to Moody Bible. Then I got a phone call from An unknown person to me telling me they have heard about me and sent me a plane ticket To work for the Central Union Mission in Washington DC, Then I was asking to come to Oak Hill School (blind school for boy’s girls) in Hartford, CT. I meet my wife Black America at the school

She was a special ED teacher. Married for 18 yrs. While working at the school I was ask To served on the Board of Directories of the Open Hearth (homeless Shelton) So I worked For the blind school and served on the Board for a Total of 10 years. The Open Hearth Ask me to become the food service manager so I left the blind school and work for 15 yrs.’ As a food service manager. My wife died so I moved in with my mother in law. During those

Many years my mother father retired in Boise ID. My father passed away and my mom Moved to Texas to be near my brother. So after while of living in Texas my mother call She said come down to Texas I have a full-time cooking job for you all you have to do i sign the w-2 papers and you can start working the next day. Therefore, I came to Texas My Job was the Food Service Director of Lake Shore Estate a retirement home, Waco TX

After working there for 10 months the home office sold their food service operation to another Company. Therefore, that company kicks all employees out and brought in their own people.

Therefore, I was out of work for one week. I went to an employment office and they got me a jobAt the Baylor University in Waco TX, I got the Job as Food Supervisor The food companyThere was Aramark Food service. At the time, Aramark was also at Scott White in Temple TX.

After working in 7 yrs.’ at Baylor the food director at SW as if I would transfer to Temple They needed a supervisor on the midnight shift 11 pm to 7 am so me and my mother Moved to Temple TX for 8 yrs. The last year of employment SW in Brenham TX needA tray line coordinated so we moved to Brenham and then after my mother died I moved Back to Temple TX. Therefore, I now do volunteer work, couch surfing trips, cruises, and camping
