Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that travelling the world and getting to know other cultures is one of the most rewarding experiences that life has to offer. I also believe that making friends with local people and learning about places from them is a much better way to travel than staying in soulless hotels and taking canned audio tours surrounded by tourists from your own country. I have met wonderful people through Couchsurfing both as a guest and as a host. Some of my most memorable travel experiences are associated with the Couchsurfing community.

Interests
