I moved back to London last year after many years in the US - the last 11 years in Miami. Unfortunately, I’m unable to host at the moment, as I’m in the middle of moving and don’t have any space (sofa or otherwise) for a guest. As soon as I get settled, I will open up for hosting again!

I am a retired teacher, primarily having taught kindergarten and English Language Learners, but I am now disabled. However, I do stay very busy being involved with the Arts when I can and assisting my kids in their pursuits of the Arts. I have 3 adult kids who live in Miami, Boston, and Kansas City (each 1,500 miles away from each other) and a teenager who still lives at home with me in London.

I have a few references here on Couchsurfing so far and am verified through Couchsurfing. We love hosting people and have hosted acquaintances, friends, and family outside of CS, too. It’s so fun to meet new people, share travel stories and new experiences, and make new friends. I would be happy to provide lots of additional references for you (with contact information) upon request.

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and make new friends. I love learning about other places, cultures, languages, etc., and Couchsurfing is a great way to learn from new friends with different experiences and perspectives. This community seems to be filled with people with whom I share a lot of interests, and I would love to become a more active Couchsurfing member. Also, when I travel I like to get to know a place through people who live there and learn about places to visit beyond just the touristy sites.

I love a variety of music from musicals to hip hop, pop, indie, rap, classical, jazz, R&B and more. My kids are all involved in various combinations of acting, singing, playing instruments, dancing, theatre, etc. I love travel and nights out at the theatre.
