After working in the restaurant industry for 15 years I sold my business and have temporarily retired. For the last 2 years I have been travelling around the world, mostly by motorcycle. It has been an incredible journey so far and I am hoping to continue for several more years.

Currently I am travelling from London to Magadan, Russia. This trip will take me about 6 months and I will travel thru at least 13 countries. (This was the plan for 2020, but for obvious reasons it has been postponed)

My biggest passion (outside of travel) is food and traveling is a way for me to explore new cuisines and learn more about ones that I thought I was already familiar with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met so many amazing, friendly and generous people around the world. When I am home, here in Denver, I wanted to try to return that hospitality to other travelers.

When I travel, couchsurfing is one of the best ways to connect with people that live in that country, town or city.

Staying in a hotel, while comfortable, is usually boring and lonely.

Staying with a host on couchsurfing allows one to learn about other people and share your own experiences.
