This is a couple's account - for Lisa and Pol - as we are traveling together throughout this adventure.

Leaving everything behind to go explore this world. Moving out of Paris, direction Cape Town, starting in Jordan. Looking forward to spontaneous adventures and making friends on the way :)

Lisa is slovak but studied at an american business school, so she is fluent in english, and speaks pretty good french as she spent the last two years living in Paris with Pol.
Even though she studied business, she specialized in hospitality industry, especially in luxury hotels. She worked in the USA, Slovakia and France for different hotels for various departments from housekeeping , reception to restaurant manager.
She's an animal and nature lover, enjoys horse riding and lately her passion is in decoration; design and DIY projects.

Pol is half french half catalan, he has a passion for learning new languages and is looking forward to language exchanges. He studied computer science and worked in the field for 4 years, making apps and websites. He also loves adrenaline, he is a licensed skydiver (with over 100 jumps) and holds a pilot license.

We are on a journey to connect with people around the world, learn and share skills, languages and laughter :)

We met through Couchsurfing 5 years ago, as we were hosted in Seattle for one night. We know first-hand how life-changing it is to meet friends on your way.

. Feeding wild hyenas in Harar (🇪🇹)

. Walking among giraffes met on the side of the road (🇰🇪)

. Abseiled a 100m waterfall in Sipi (🇺🇬)

. Treated ourselves to one of the best restaurants in Africa (🇷🇼)

. Hanged out with chimps in Gombe National Park, where Jane Goodall made all her discoveries (🇹🇿)

. Kayaked at sunset on Lake Malawi (🇲🇼)

. Volunteered with chimpanzees for a week in Chimfunshi (🇿🇲)
