Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are moving to Brisbane for my PhD education. I need to find temporary accommodation for the initial days to locate suitable housing. To be honest, hotels in Brisbane are quite expensive, and I come from a country with poor economic conditions.

Interests

I'm a big fan of movies. My wife and I usually watch movies every night. I also enjoy various sports like football, volleyball, basketball, and especially ping pong. I was on the Iranian ping pong national team 10 years ago. I appreciate different music styles such as pop, rock, and rap. Additionally, my wife and I are enthusiastic board game fans, enjoying games like Stone Age and Exploding Kittens.

I was selected twice as the best researcher in the university during my master's course in immunology. Additionally, I received a QUT university scholarship for my PhD studies.

I teach English to Iranians, so I can also teach Persian to English speakers. Moreover, my wife is a skilled cook who can prepare a wide range of delightful Iranian dishes and desserts.
