About Me

Iám fun loving, free spirited yet bound to family with responsibilities. I believe in duality of life and universe, hence, always thriving to balance the contradictory terms of life. I love books as much as i love dancing. i celebrate the festive crowds yet find peace watching the sunset somewhere alone. i follow religion as a way of life yet my decisions are rationally made.
In the process of re-discovering myself, I volunteered with few NGOs, did PDC, hosted a few meetups, heritage walks around Hyderabad. Actively taken part in event management and take up Interior design works that interest me.
I also did some environmental events, sometimes help people find their answers while I figure out mine.
Right now, in a quest to find a permaculture farm where I can connect to my own self again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Inspired by Satyanand, I joined couchsurfing few months ago, but understood its true spirit when I started meeting people, travelers, from different places, different fields of work, different cultures.
I'm here to travel the world and share my stories n my interactions with it. I have never seen my city the way I did, after joining here. I wish to explore more.
When I visited Chennai is when I realised not every beach is the same, so are the mountains. But one thing that binds everything is people. though from different backgrounds, different practices, they are all bound by emotions and smiles.
Thats what i want to experience, to be far at home with strangers, explore their stories, feel one with their uniqueness, know and learn the history of the place, explore the landscapes and architecture. Live in different cities yet be home.
I finally understand what vasudhaiva kutumbam ( world is one family) feels like and it's beautiful

Interests

I naturally get attracted to history, architecture and nature
I enjoy watching sunset and sunrise as well as bask in full moons and smile with the crescents
My adventurous spirit takes me to lots of jungles and mountains. I'm yet to try adventure sports.
I love meeting people and listen to their stories.
Though cars are comforting, bikes are challenging
World is Plethora of surprises n i wish to experience as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Iám very moody, hence the following preferences vary with my mood

I love music of any kind. If it doesn't make me dance or groove into it, it's not music.

Movies - I can sit forever and watch movies until its a movie that gves me adrenaline rush to run out :D

Books - Same as movies, fiction should hold me to it, self help books that help me understand behaviors and patterns, science, spiritual stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from Jhansi to Hyderabad
A spontaneous ride from Hyderabad to vijaywada to warangal has taught me great life lessons.
Doing an Ecamp ( an environmental camp) has changed the way I look at the world and its people. All bindas city life that I'm used to needed a little twist.
Presentations on ewaste for an NGO has changed my perception about today's economical and life style issues.
It encouraged me to delve into natural living and various ways of achieving it.
Then experiences at Thiruvannamalai and later the Sea has made a profound impact on me, as a human and spiritual being.
Andaman nicobar has given a deeper understanding of family structure.
Backpacking through Tamilnadu has got me close to understanding myself more and lessons on self sufficiency.
Oh, every journey I have taken has such profound impact on my life.
Life itself is so profound and magical, these words will never get the essence of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

well i'm kinda jack of all trades. May be i can teach simple hacks in life.
and learn more about how traveling has changed them and share their experiences and life-changing moments.
Now I'm more into natural living. I can help find your meditation technique ( each grooves to a different music)
Use a few tools to find your answers,
I can help with garden and making bio enzymes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories of Hyderabad over a Biryani and Irani chai
If time permits, I can take them around too.
Now, I can also tell you more on natural living, ways of achieving it. The misconceptions of diet and immunity and meditation.
I can help you in making bio enzymes and gardening tips.
