I am a girl from Lithuania 🇱🇹 I found that the best opportunity to see the country is to be near local people. In this way you can feel the real spirit of the culture. Travelling enhances my imagination power, creativity. It gives me an another eye to appreciate beauty, to learn a new language, to understand cultural human behavior. Travelling always gets me out of my comfort zone where I discover new things about myself.

Truly speaking, every trip makes me more adaptable to different environment, exposes me towards hardship for my survival . As cliche as it sounds, it is to "see the world"! Yes, you can learn about the Grand Canyon from the internet, national geographic. But nothing beats standing at the edge of the canyon and soaking it in. All the experiences you gained from traveling make excellent stories, all the friends you made through these trips stay with you for a lifetime and certainly, you cannot get that from the tv, internet or books - these should only serve as inspiration for you to see the world! Travelling is itself a motivation for me. It fills me with all imagination, colors, adventure and learnings. So Couchsurfing lets experience you a new culture from the inside
