My passion lies in music, languages and food, which have become the focal points of both my personal and professional life. You will often find me playing my guitar/piano, grappling with a language textbook, or cooking something new for my friends. I also love playing chess and birdwatching, although I'm not particularly good at either. As a proud Capetonian, I've become a seasoned unofficial tour guide. While I'm a city boy at heart, I spend most of my free time running in the mountains, swimming in the sea or having a glass of wine with friends. I am always excited to meet new people, see new places and learn new things – whether in Cape Town or abroad. I work remotely so I travel frequently but am flexible when in town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My cousin got me into Couchsurfing, and since then, I have hosted three people. My first experience of hosting was with a fantastic couple from San Francisco, followed by an amazing Couchsurfer from Hong Kong. I hope to have many more experiences like these in the future.
