About Me

I was absent from CS for a while, but started using it again in May 2024.

CURRENT MISSION

Experience the most vibrant cities in the world and meet amazing people

ABOUT ME

I am working at Waseda University in Tokyo. Before that I lived in Vienna, Zurich and in Genova (Italy), and I already hosted quite some people there. I adore traveling, and I am looking forward to meet great new people and see even more amazing cities all over the world!

PHILOSOPHY

During the day, I am a researcher, but that is only one side of me! At nights I like to go out, for dinner or drinks with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several people, have met many people for coffee or drinks while traveling, and have been hosted sometimes. I see couchsurfing as a great way to meet people from all over the world and get to know their point of view and to hear the latest travel updates about destinations I want to experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met many cool people through couchsurfing from all over the world. And except for one girl that nearly set my house on fire it were all positive experiences. Well, and even she did not do it on purpose :)

Interests

Obviously, traveling!!! Otherwise I like to do sports, especially swimming! In the summer, I love to go to the beach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably my bungee jump - it was more than 200 meters, and if I said that I wasn't afraid when I jumped, I would lie (indeed, I am afraid of height) ... so I had to do it!

Teach, Learn, Share

The Suica card is very useful for traveling in Tokyo.
If you plan to travel around in Japan, consider buying the JR railpass.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Italy, Japan, Switzerland
